Are you looking for child friendly activities for Halloween near your two-bedroom apartment in Cumberland? There are a number of unusual Halloween activities to attend. Try one of these options for a fun-filled Halloween season for the whole family.
- Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: The whole family will enjoy strolling down this wetlands path lit by 5,000 carved Jack-O-Lanterns, many featured in musical scenes taken from the movies, T.V. and Broadway. This nationally famous event ends with the giant laughing tree exhibit, which includes hundreds of lit Jack-O-Lanterns viewed while the well-loved “laughing music” plays in the background. This Halloween event has been named one of the best in the country, and it runs now through Nov. 3.
- Spooky Zoo at Roger Williams Park Zoo: Enjoy a day filled with music and entertainment including a magician, feed the animals pumpkin treats, take part in a creepy, crawly art project; try some of the spooky animal encounters and watch a pumpkin carving exhibit. Don’t forget to bring something to gather your candy in, as you walk down the trick or treat trail. Take part in this event on Oct. 27 or 28.
- Boo Bash at the Providence Children’s Museum: Come to the Children’s Museum for the best costume party around on Oct. 28. Enjoy spooky games, make artistic witch crafts, help with the mad scientist with experiments, and explore the scary environment in a Museum wing. The museum will also have creep creatures and spooky studio events that week.
